Kaare Iversen escaped from Nazi-occupied Norway in 1941 by crossing the North Sea in a fishing boat. After landing in the Shetland Islands, he and some other Norwegians who had made the trip began to transport supplies to the resistance in their homeland. This is one of the most remarkable stories of World War Two.
