The story of the first men to float in space, walk on the moon and look upon Earth from 240,000 miles away. The first nine moon missions between December 1968 and December 1972 were well documented, and this film gives viewers the chance to see the extraordinary NASA footage taken by the various astronauts of the Apollo programme. The film features an acclaimed soundtrack by Brian and Roger Eno.
