Animated festive family comedy featuring the voice talents of James McAvoy, Jim Broadbent and Hugh Laurie. Together with his family and his elves, Santa (Broadbent) works hard every year so that he can successfully deliver presents to everyone in the world on Christmas Eve. As people sleep soundly in their beds, they are unaware of the high-tech operation run at the North Pole by members of Santa's dysfunctional family, including his cranky 136-year-old father Grandsanta (Bill Nighy), his devoted wife Mrs Santa (Imelda Staunton), and his very different sons, Steve (Laurie) and Arthur (McAvoy). As the family clash over their plans for the future, one present is lost but Arthur is determined to do whatever it takes to make sure that it is delivered. The voice cast also includes Ashley Jensen, Eva Longoria and Laura Linney.
