Summary

.Fratti is a small district of Corvina, a fictional town in the province of Romagna. In the very near future, Baldi and Ercole are the point of reference for a group of elderly people who meet at the New Age Bar, for many years the headquarters of the Party, before all colors faded in politics – including the left. When a very controversial law requires pensioners to devote hours of their day to forced volunteering – while a series of large infrastructural works are looming in the neighborhood that would distort their genuineness – Baldi, Ercole and the others rebel. Defying their limits and the ailments of old age, they decide to face a power that is apparently invincible, but that will reveal, often in a comic way, its vulnerability. A daring adventure, full of twists and strokes of luck, which leads the protagonists of this story to live a human, political and social story with unforeseen and even unimaginable implications.
