Popeye the Sailor made his cartoon debut in 1933 after Max and Dave Fleischer's Fleischer Studios adapted Segar's comic strip characters. By 1936 Popeye was the studios most popular character. This includes 43 minutes of early Technicolor cartoons including I Don t Care, Nearlyweds, Spree Lunch, The Crystal Brawl, Popeye's 20th Anniversary, and Big Bad Sinbad.
