Ken Reid, now 52 years old and living in North Berwick, began to go blind when he was 26. He is currently the Scottish representative on RNIB, and helps many organisations reduce barriers to the blind and partially sighted. In sport he has taken part in 3 marathons, and is active in cycling, rowing and canoeing. On 14th June 2012, Ken carried the Olympic torch as part of the 2012 relay.
