Archie Baird, veterinary surgeon, and captain of Gullane Golf Club 1976-78, married Dr Sheila Park, great granddaughter of Willie Park senior (first winner of the Open Championship). Archie has been collecting old clubs, balls and golf pictures for many years and opened the Heritage of Golf museum at Gullane in 1980.
