Swing on the Bar is the autobiogrpahy of goalkeeper John Martin of Prestonpans, documenting his 19-year career with Airdrieonians, as well as his early life in East Lothian, and career as a miner. John Martin, made a record 769 appearances for Airdrie after joining from Tranent Juniors in 1980, was voted the club’s greatest goalkeeper in a 2016 poll.
