Benedict Cumberbatch stars in this Cold War thriller directed by Dominic Cooke. In 1960, unsuspecting British businessman Greville Wynne (Cumberbatch) is drawn into the dangerous world of espionage when he is recruited by MI6 and tasked with travelling to Russia to meet with high-ranking Soviet military intelligence officer Oleg Penkovsky (Merab Ninidze) before transporting top-secret information on the Soviet nuclear programme back to London. The cast also includes Rachel Brosnahan, Jessie Buckley and Angus Wright.
