Adventure drama featuring the computer game character Sonic the Hedgehog (voice of Ben Schwartz) and starring Jim Carrey and James Marsden. When Sonic travels to Earth he is pursued by the evil Dr Ivo Robotnik (Carrey) who wishes to capture Sonic and use his powers to rule the world. In order to evade capture Sonic relies on small-town police officer Tom Wachowski (Marsden) and as the pair flee from Robotnik they learn about loyalty and friendship.
