Arsene Lupin, gentleman burglar [large print]

Leblanc, Maurice, 1864-19412016
Large Print
Baron Cahorn receives a letter from Arsene Lupin, THE gentleman burglar: master of a thousand disguises, scourge of country-houses and fashionable drawing-rooms, and nemesis of Detective Ganimard. The missive explains that Lupin has taken a fancy to various items of the baron's art and antiquities collection - with the exception of the large Watteau and the Louis XVI chatelaine, the authenticity of which appear to be 'exceedingly doubtful' - and requests that they be packed up and dispatched to him. Otherwise, he himself will see to their removal. But Arsene Lupin is presently imprisoned behind the walls of the Sante.
