Sci-fi adventure directed by Robert Schwentke and based on the third novel in Veronica Roth's trilogy. Following on from the events of 'Insurgent' (2015), Tris (Shailene Woodley) and Four (Theo James) venture beyond the wall surrounding Chicago for the first time. After breaching the city's boundary, the pair are taken to the Bureau of Genetic Welfare where they finally discover the origins of their enclosed society. When they learn the truth about the experiment in Chicago, Tris and Four are forced to decide where their true allegiance lies as the Bureau, led by David (Jeff Daniels), threatens to destroy their home and wipe out everyone they know.
